Services / Maafsaya Subscription

Maafsaya. QR vehicle contact and alerts.

A subscription service for QR-based vehicle owner contact. Help people send useful vehicle alerts without putting your private contact details on display.

A more considerate connection

Let a helpful message reach the right person.

A blocked driveway, lights left on or an alarm sounding: Maafsaya gives a passer-by a clear way to notify the vehicle owner through a QR contact page.

For vehicle owners

Manage vehicles and QR stickers, review alerts and choose whether to accept incoming messages.

For people nearby

Scan the sticker, check the vehicle plate and select a reason, with an optional short message.

Contact without a displayed number

The public contact page supports alert messaging without showing the owner’s private phone number or email address.

How it works

Register. Place. Scan. Notify.

  1. 1

    Register & add a vehicle

Create an owner account and add your vehicle details. Manage your active vehicles from the owner dashboard.

  2. 2

    Create your QR sticker

Generate the vehicle QR, then download, share or print it. Place the sticker where someone can scan it.

  3. 3

    Send a vehicle alert

A visitor scans the QR, selects an alert reason and can add a short explanation before sending.

  4. 4

    Review the message

The owner reviews incoming alerts in the app and can mark them as seen. Enabled notification channels can also send an alert.

Subscription service features

Vehicle contact, organised around the owner.

Practical tools for QR management, incoming alerts and owner account control.

QR-based vehicle contact

Place a vehicle-specific QR sticker on your vehicle. A visitor can scan it to open the contact page and send an alert without seeing your private contact details.

Multiple vehicle management

Add vehicles, view active vehicles from your dashboard and manage their plate numbers and status from one owner account.

Shareable & printable QR codes

Copy or share the public link, download a QR image or print a PDF sticker for each vehicle.

QR link regeneration

Generate a replacement QR token when needed. The previous QR link becomes invalid once it is replaced, so update the sticker on the vehicle.

Quick alert reasons

Visitors can choose reasons such as blocking a driveway, lights left on, an alarm sounding or another issue.

Short custom messages

Add an optional message of up to 200 characters to explain the situation. The visitor flow includes a short wait between messages in the same browser session.

Owner dashboard & inbox

See active vehicles, recent alerts and new message counts. Review incoming messages and mark new messages as seen.

Push & email notifications

Notify the owner when a contact message is created. Push notifications depend on permissions and device support; email delivery requires configured and enabled email services.

Message & account controls

Enable or disable incoming messages, edit your profile, change your password or delete your account and associated owner data.

Safety & privacy reports

Submit a Safety, Privacy or Other report, review your own report history and mark unresolved reports as resolved.

Designed for everyday situations

Small alerts that can make a difference.

A driveway is blocked

Let the vehicle owner know that access is needed, with a short message explaining the location.

Vehicle lights are on

Send a quick heads-up when lights appear to have been left on.

An alarm is sounding

Notify the owner about an active alarm so they can check their vehicle.

Discuss subscription options, the owner app, QR stickers and a suitable rollout with our team. Availability and notification setup can be confirmed during a product demonstration.

Does the visitor see the owner’s phone number?

The QR contact flow lets visitors send alerts without displaying the owner’s private contact details. The vehicle identifier and plate number are visible on the public page.

What can a visitor send?

A visitor selects an alert reason and can include an optional message of up to 200 characters. Messaging must be enabled by the owner.

Can one owner manage multiple vehicles?

Yes. The owner dashboard and My QR area show the account’s active vehicles and their individual QR links.

What happens if I replace a QR code?

Regenerating the QR token invalidates the old public link. Replace any printed sticker with the newly generated QR code.

Are messages a private conversation?

The documented public QR page can show recent message activity for that QR link, including custom messages. Avoid including sensitive information in vehicle alerts.

How are notifications delivered?

Push delivery depends on enabled notification services, permissions and supported devices. Email requires a configured and enabled email service. Owners can also review messages in the app.

Can visitors call the owner or receive replies?

The currently documented visible flow focuses on alert messaging. Calling and reply composition are not advertised as available features; contact our team to confirm rollout scope.
